The Fiory blend for AUSTRALIAN PARAKEETS differs from the African blend in a number of ways.
There is a considerable reduction in the content of sunflower seeds which, though the birds love them, would add too much fat to their diet. The content of safflower is greater, as it contains unsaturated fats which combat cholesterol, thus giving the blend a lighter feed structure.
We have also introduced a small percentage of hemp seeds, rich in Vitamin E to stimulate reproduction.
The percentage of carbohydrates is balanced while, as a little treat, we have included a few shelled peanuts.
Another feature of our blend is the addition of granules rich in Omega3 and chelated minerals.
